Sometimes I get so busy with "things" that it's hard to make the time. I just want to wake up one day and find that the girls are all grown up and I missed their wonder years. I don't think any of our children will forget the memories we make with them. I know I haven't. I still remember the "Girls' Night In" I had with my mom as a girl. I happily recall the times my father took me out to breakfast and we simply talked and laughed. Our children will not forget. We will officially begin our homeschool journey in September. Until I got re-married a couple of years ago, I only had one daughter, so it was easy to spend one-on-one time with her, but I knew the value of doing this with multiple children because I have two boys, and I'd always done this with them. They will never forget some of their memories with me with just them by themselves. They're now 15 and 18 years old. Now, by marriage, I have another daughter, and I homeschool the two girls. I have shown my new daughter what it's like to have a mommy that spends that one-on-one time with her, to make her feel special. She said that she had never experienced this before. I'm glad that I had the privilege of doing these things with her. I pray she never forgets. You won’t regret this idea Andrea.
