Ladies, I’m so excited! Today is my blogoversary! In other words, I’ve officially been a blogger for one full year! Now that might not mean much to some, but for me and many other bloggers, a blogoversary is a marvelous milestone!
When I began blogging last year, I never imagined that anyone would be interested in reading about my family’s activities, the recipes I’ve prepared, or my musings about the Christian walk, but your positive comments and warm emails have shown me otherwise. Thanks for the encouragement! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.
Whether you’ve been with me from the beginning or have just recently begun to follow Embracing Him, I encourage you to stick around! Consider subscribing to my RSS feed or signing up for Embracing Him via email. I’m sure this year will bring even more stories, recipes, and devotions, and you won’t want to miss one post!

Seems like yesterday when you celebrated your 100th post! Congratulations:) Even though I hardly post, I get something from your blogging on a daily basis..Thanks!
Hmmm… what I would do with the gift is head on over to the clearance sections first (haha), then find a cute outfit for my oldest, and a “fancy” teether toy/book for my youngest. The rest I would save for a household item.
Why would I purchase these things? Well, my oldest daughter is turning 5 soon and nothing fits her! My youngest needs at least 2 more teethers so that she stops trying to hurt me LOL. And since I’ve been cooking almost everyday..it seems whenever I’m in the process I think to myself..hey I could use this or that gadget:)

i would say that i love your blog, but what i really love is my dear sister in Christ Andrea. i enjoy the recipes, the stories about your family, and your beautiful devotional thoughts.
Congrats Andrea. I wish I had been on since the very beginning because this blog has certainly been a blessing to me in many ways.
How do I sign up for the e-mail digest? As for Target, since I have lost weight, I might buy some turtlenecks to be covered completely up
. I could buy David some spring clothes and my husband needs some socks so I can cut down on washing 
. In fact, clothes for all so less washing for me 
Oh, I’d definitely buy something for my house like curtains for the kitchen! I’ve already racked up quite a bill at Target the last couple of months trying to buy stuff for our new home so I’ve been banned from using my Target card!

Congratulations !!!! I’m really proud and happy for you. As you know I have thoroughly enjoyed your blog this last year. As far as Target, you know I have a special fondness for the store. As of late, I’ve had to stay away though, so I’m not entirely sure what to get. Perhaps, some kitchen items?

Now…what would I do with $50 at Tarjay? First, I’d buy a few care package items to send to my kids in college. Then I’d buy something for my house, on clearance, of course!

Happy blogoversary! I have only recently been a visitor here, but I always leave encouraged by your wise words or inspired with a wonderful recipe. But..a $50 gift card??? I’ll be your friend for life! Count me in. The closest Target from me is over an hour away, so I enjoy walking through and browsing, but I think that I would get some seasonal home decorations, they always have a great selection!
A blogoversary is a huge milestone! Congrats on one full year! I would probably use $50 at target to begin getting summer clothes for my children. My they have grown this last year!

I just started reading your blog (on the day you posted about your Valentine’s day activities with your girls. I love it! Thanks for all the time you put into this, wow.
What would I spend $50 on? My DH is being laid off in March so I would save it in case we needed it – you can get pretty much anything at Target, diapers to dinner! If I was FORCED (haha) to spend it on myself, I would get a cool big clock for over my fireplace.
