You're welcome Barbara! I was so glad I found your post. A fresh clean house is definitely worth the work! Thank you for stopping by.

Andrea, thank you for sharing the link to my post! I love the way the house feels when the spring cleaning is done. I like your tip to start in the bedroom, I usually feel I sleep better too snuggling into clean sheets in a clean room :) It's so peaceful.

Deidra, you're so right! The many things my parents made me do I am so very thankful for today! Such things teach you discipline.

I pray that you'll enjoy your summer with your daughter and there won't be too much to clean up in the fall!

Growing up, we weren't allowed to plan anything on Saturday until the whole house had been cleaned, laundry washed and folded, and snow shoveled or grass cut. It was a family affair that I dreaded but appreciate now.

My empty nest has remained pretty clean these past few months. Soon, however, my youngest will return for the summer, and I anticipate that when she leaves again in the Fall, our family will have to implement your Spring Cleaning pointers.
